WHO AM I?
I am an actor and creator based in Toronto; working internationally, and fluent in Catalan, French, and Spanish.
Being born I Barcelona, and growing up as an unschooler in an artistic household, in Saskatoon, SK, gave me a broad perspective and understanding of people and communities across nations, languages, and demographics. I developed a passion for creation at a young age, always building, learning, doing, making, spending every second I could in the theatre or amidst other artists and creators.
“Guifre Bantjes-Rafols can be seen in Coroner Ep202 (CBC), the feature film Sebastian (Bonpland Pictures), and in Private Eyes Ep405 (Global). Past theatre credits include: Jacob Mercer in Salt-Water Moon (QCT) and Lazarus in Lazarus and his Beloved (Broken Hill Theatre).
He has been involved in the arts since he was a child; hungry to create: studying music, dance, writing, filmmaking, circus, and performance. Attending The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York sharpened his focus and he moved to Toronto, where he graduated from George Brown Theatre School, and now works as a professional Actor.”
In 2019 I founded Faula Creative Inc. with the goal of facilitating narrative creation projects for himself and his peers; giving specific focus to collaborating on projects that voice underrepresented stories and illuminate different perspectives.
I am an actor. I am a creator. Each informs the other and too many stories have not yet been written.
GLAD WE GOT TO KNOW EACH OTHER,
